Restoring and replacing teeth is the specialty.
From a single crown to a whole mouth. Every restoration is made in the practice's own laboratory.

The first laboratory, Clarksburg, West Virginia
Clinic and laboratory under one roof
He ran a dental lab for ten years before dental school.
In 1975, unable to get into dental school, Greg Boyajian opened a dental laboratory with his wife Jessica and his brother Ben. It grew to serve more than 100 dentists in the Northeast. In 1996 it became private, and today it makes the crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures for this practice and no other.

How an implant works
A new root, then a new tooth from our bench.
An implant replaces the root as well as the tooth. The part you see, the crown, is made in the practice's own laboratory.
Step 01
Placement
The titanium implant is placed in the jawbone, with the area numb.
Step 02
Integration
Over the healing period the bone bonds to the implant.
Step 03
Abutment
A connector is fitted to carry the new tooth.
Step 04
Your crown
The crown, shaded and fired in our own laboratory, is fixed in place.

Your first visit
Seven parts of a thorough examination.
From these, you receive a treatment plan that states the objective, the number of visits, the length of each visit and the cost. You are welcome to seek a second or third opinion.
- 01
Health and dental history
Your medical history, medications and what you have been through with your teeth so far.
- 02
Clinical examination
Teeth, gums and soft tissues, including an oral cancer screening.
- 03
Radiographs
Both a panoramic image and a full-mouth series, so nothing below the gum line is guessed at.
- 04
Periodontal evaluation
The gums and bone that support the teeth.
- 05
TMJ and bite
A temporomandibular joint exam and an occlusal evaluation of how your teeth meet.
- 06
Models and bite records
Upper and lower models, so your case can be studied away from the chair.
- 07
Photographs
Intraoral and extraoral photographs to plan, and later to compare.
In search of the perfect smile
Look at your smile the way he does.
From Dr. Boyajian's essay, first published in Palm Beach Society. Tick what you notice in the mirror and bring the list to a consultation.
Your notes for a consultation
Sit in front of a mirror in good light and smile with your lips apart. Tick anything you notice. As Dr. Boyajian writes, do not be too critical: the perfect smile is a goal, and perfection is rare.
